IGLESIA DE CRISTO - PARK PLAZA

 Praise God for His love and mercy! The trip to El Salvador was a great blessing and learning experience! My main purpose for this trip was to follow up with the family that was born again at Park Plaza and is now in El Salvador. I learned from my teacher and mentor that the important part of converting someone to Christ is to follow up with them as he did with me. How could I miss it! Paul was a great Bible example of follow up with individuals and churches. Last Sunday evening, Mitch preached about turning your sign around, and how some things that look like adversities in life can result in the salvation of someone and glorify Jesus. That gave me the confirmation of what I saw with this family that we helped in Park Plaza. God is working His plan in all directions with His infinite wisdom. A person that was here in the U.S., poor and illegal, has been reached with the Good News of Salvation. I baptized them, married them and discipled them. They were struggling here with no job, then Lidia was put in jail for 6 weeks and deported. Then I worked for three months trying to send their children to El Salvador to them. Now they are in El Salvador, safe in the church, and because of their influence I baptized two more people last Friday. They will continue working with the church in El Salvador with Iglesia de Cristo en San Jacinto, a suburb of the capital, San Salvador.
